The newly excavated artificial deep-sea channel alongside the offshore floating LNG/LPG terminals at Moheshkhali serves as a critical lifeline for national energy supply and gas distribution. Once a serene island famed primarily for salt cultivation and betel leaf farming, Moheshkhali has rapidly transformed into a pivotal economic and energy corridor.
